Let’s cut to the chase:
Magnum Detox reviews can be misleading.
So today, I’m analyzing their claims, their ingredients, and test results to reveal the truth.
Does their 1-hr system cleanser work?
Let’s find out.
What Is the Magnum Detox Drink?
Detoxing, like all other things that involve your body, should be done cautiously.
Magnum Detox claims to be one of the leading brands that offers a variety of advanced and innovative cleansing solutions.
Their flagship product is the Magnum 1-hour detox drink, which is a ready-to-drink, 16 oz or 32 oz formula, whose liquid mixture is loaded with nutritional supplements to help you rid your body of toxins.
This detox drink is supposed to be formulated in such a way that it essentially enhances the body’s natural processes of detoxification.
It is packed with creatine monohydrate and essential vitamins that help expel unwanted substances in your system.
The magnum detox drink prides itself as being a 1-hour system cleanser.
Yep, you read that right.
They claim that all the magic of toxin removal can be achieved in just 1 hour.
Unlike other detox drinks, this product is not syrup-tasting, nor is it bitter and grainy. Instead, it comes in a variety of flavors to choose from.
The tasty flavor comes at a cost though.
High fructose corn syrup is the #2 ingredient! Followed by both natural and artificial flavors.
This is the first bone I have to pick with Magnum’s detox line.
A true, healthy detox should NEVER contain artificial flavors (many of which are toxins in themselves) or corn syrup (hello, GMOs!).
How It Works
The Magnum 1-hr detox drink guarantees its customers that it works “every time” with its cleansing process effective in about one hour after consumption.
It claims to provide a quick, easy, and efficient solution to flushing out toxins using all-natural ingredients.
But hold on a minute….
Some of their ingredients literally include the word “artificial” in them. Both in flavors and colors.
So I don’t know where they get their “all natural” claim.
Anyways, moving on, how is the magnum detox drink supposed to work?
Well, for starters, let’s discuss what a detox drink does.
The common misconception with detox beverages is that once you consume it, the toxins in your body are permanently flushed out.
The truth is, detox drinks only work for a few hours.
ALL this type of beverage does is simply MASK the toxins in your system so that your sample results can be clean temporarily.
This particular system cleanser supposedly alerts your body that it needs to eliminate toxic chemicals from its system.
Once your body receives this information and starts its processing, the “nutrients” in the drink (if you can call them that – they’re mostly synthetic) provides several strengthening components.
They claim such components are necessary for safely and successfully expelling harmful chemicals and dangerous toxins.
Ingredient Analysis: A Closer Look at What Magnum Detox Is Made Of
The magnum detox formula is blended with B-complex and Creatine for cleansing.
Apart from removing toxins, the product is also meant to replace any lost B vitamins from the detox process.
The complete list of ingredients is as follows:
- Natural and Artificial Flavors
- High Fructose Corn Syrup
- Ascorbic Acid
- Citric Acid
- Sodium Benzoate
- Creatine Monohydrate
- Xanthan Gum
- Artificial Colors
You don’t have to be an ingredient analyzer like me to see that this product is inferior.
Those ingredients are pathetic – and many of them toxins.
Still, I want to provide a complete review of Magnum, so let’s discuss each ingredient a little more in-depth.
Creatine is one of the primary ingredients of detox products because of its ability to boost the function of your kidneys to flush out unwanted substances.
While this component is naturally produced by your pancreas, liver, and kidneys as an organic acid, creatine can be taken in the form of supplements.
In supplemental form, it’s mostly made up of amino acids and nitrogens.
Creatine is also an important supplement for athletes because it helps fuel muscles to improve performance.
The ingredients in the drink such as Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), and Cyanocobalamin (B12) are B Vitamins.
These vitamins play a significant role in keeping your nervous system healthy by producing the needed amount of blood cells.
B vitamins are also known for keeping your body at a regular state and treating deficiencies in your system.
Most importantly, B vitamins contain detoxing properties that help cleanse your body from toxins associated with drug use.
The only problem with these B vitamins is that they’re largely synthetic.
Take cyanocobalamin (B12), for example:
Do you know where the pre-fix “cyano” comes from?
Yep, toxic cyanide is used during the manufacturing process of synthetic vitamin B12. If you want the real deal, look for methylcobalamin.
Ascorbic Acid – commonly referred to as vitamin C – is also an essential vitamin that supports your immune system, especially after drug or alcohol intake.
It’s great for keeping your body clean from toxins, which can damage your overall health.
However, ascorbic acid is just one, isolated and extracted part of whole vitamin C. You’d be better off eating a few acerola cherries or a grapefruit.
Citric acid is a component of citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, and pineapples.
This organic acid is a natural ingredient that’s great for detoxing because of its cleansing properties.
Citric acid can help boost your kidney function while supporting your digestive system and keeping energy levels high.
Of course, water shouldn’t be forgotten from the list.
But it also shouldn’t be the FIRST ingredient, either…
In case you don’t know, ingredients are listed from highest concentration to lowest.
So the Magnum 1-hr system cleaner is largely water.
Water is a good thing though in detox as it helps remove toxins by effectively flushing out waste.
Other than being an important agent for detox, water also aids in nutrient absorption and proper digestion.
Still, you’d be better off drinking pure filtered water – not a mostly water solution mixed with ridiculously large amounts of high fructose corn syrup.
Tips for Success on the 1 Hr System Cleanser
The instructions for this drink are straightforward and easy to accomplish.
First, just shake the bottle and drink all of its contents.
After about 15 minutes, refill the same bottle with water and drink. Once done, you should be urinating as often as you can.
To ensure successful results, here are some additional tips:
- Avoid drinking caffeinated products (they dehydrate you)
- Avoid consuming dairy products
- Stay clear of foods with high acidity content such as vinegar, fruit juices, or pickle juice
- Don’t eat fatty and greasy foods on your cleansing day
- Say no to smoking and alcohol
- Avoid using unnecessary medicines, especially those that are over-the-counter
- Drink at last 16 oz of water
- Urinate at least 3 times after drinking it
Magnum Detox User Reviews: What Have Other People Experienced?
Magnum strongly stands by their claim that their product works every time and is extremely beneficial for pushing out harmful toxins of the body.
But do their consumers agree?
Based on product reviews from multiple locations, people seem to have mixed opinions about the drink.
On one hand, several individuals agree that the detox drink is effective in flushing out toxins in one hour.
They say that after consuming the product, their drug tests were negative.
These customers also mentioned that interested individuals should be exact in following the instructions to get the best results – like no smoking or drinking.
On the other hand, this Magnum detox drink also has lots of negative reviews.
Some customers say that despite following instructions and abstaining from their vices, they still weren’t able to get the results they hoped.
Other users told potential buyers that even though they tried this product several times, they have been unsuccessful.
A Look at Other Detox Options from Magnum
If you’re not sure about trying the 1-hour system, this company provides a few other alternatives.
Let’s look at a few:
Magnum Detox Clean Start
The Magnum Detox Clean Start is said to help remove toxins from your saliva, blood, and urine in 7 days.
I actually like the Clean Start better than the 1-hr system because it’s only made of natural herbs.
Its formula is designed to cleanse your digestive, urinary, and circulatory systems.
The highlight of this product, as advertised by Magnum Detox, is that it can flush out toxins from all the body’s systems without requiring a pre-cleansing.
This instant flush is made with a blend of fiber and natural herbs to boost metabolism and improve the function of your body’s organs.
Magnum Detox Soft Gel
The Magnum Soft Gel Cleansing Pill is marketed as the most convenient and portable product to detox.
It follows a formula that’s supposed to help people with high toxin levels, especially those who weigh up to 320 lbs.
Once you’ve taken one capsule with water, it is highly advised that you urinate frequently on the day of your cleanse.
Results are supposed to take effect within 45 minutes and continues to flush toxins out of your body for 4-6 hours.
My opinion? Effective detox can never be achieved with a single pill. “Flushing” toxins out in 4-6 hours sounds like a glorified laxative to me.
Saliva Cleansing Mouthwash
Last but not least, we have the Magnum Detox Saliva Cleansing Mouthwash. This product is a fast-acting solution to remove toxins found in your mouth.
It provides an easy way to detoxify your saliva, which is a substance in your body that’s particularly vulnerable to chemicals.
Apart from its immediate effect, the mouthwash lasts about 45 minutes.
To get the best results, it’s best to avoid food and drinks 4 hours before using.
Smoking, drinking alcohol, and ingesting other kinds of toxins are also prohibited for 72 hours.
Healthier Detox Alternatives
Even without the aid of products, our bodies can detox on their own thanks to our liver.
It’s responsible for numerous functions that aid in process and eliminating dangerous substances in the body.
However, with the number of toxins in our environment and our largely poor food choices, your liver may need extra help.
Detox relies heavily on having the right level of nutrients because they can provide antioxidants that can keep your systems clean and healthy.
Most plants naturally contain components that support the body’s detox processes – primarily your liver and kidneys – in getting rid of environmental toxins.
By eating a proper and balanced meal plan that includes lots of vegetables, greens, healthy fats for absorption, and targeted supplements to fill in any gaps, you can detox effectively without the use of fad products like the Magnum Detox Drink.
